THE MARSHMALLOW CHALLENGE

This Year 7 Science class was challenged to construct a tower using only spaghetti, masking tape and a marshmallow. The marshmallow had to be placed on the top of the tower. The tallest tower that stood unassisted was the winner. The students had 20 minutes to build their towers.The activity requires collaboration and teamwork to ensure the creation of a tower. Our students were completely engaged in the process and had a great deal of fun along the way! Watch the video to see how the groups progressed.
