Dear BGHS community,
There are ongoing disruptions to the usual Sydney Trains timetable and these disruptions are likely to continue for the rest of this week. Hopefully, things will return to normal on Monday 28th February. Until then, trains are running every 30 minutes to the City via Bankstown and to Liverpool, with these services stopping at all stations. There are NO trains running to Lidcombe so customers for Regents Park, Berala and Lidcombe are required to make use of the train replacement bus service which picks up and drops off in Hudson Pde, adjacent to Birrong Station. If any students require help at any time, they can approach staff at Birrong Station politely and we will be happy to offer them assistance.
We encourage all parents to prepare and discuss a Plan B travel plan in the event of an emergency or change in circumstances. We also encourage students to seek assistance from the school's front office and remain supervised at the front office if waiting for alternative pick-ups.
