National Close the Gap Day on the 20th of March is an opportunity to reflect on our collective commitment to Closing the Gap and the role we each play in driving meaningful change in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander education.
Providing high quality, culturally responsive education is key to eliminating inequity and ensuring that Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children and young people have the same opportunities as all Australians. Education is not just about learning; it is about self determination, empowerment, and creating pathways for future generations to achieve their aspirations.
