Essential Information
What happens on the other days of the week? Learning is every student’s full time job, Monday through to Friday. Online learning will continue to operate for all other days. Work packages are also available for students who require them.
Travel to school: School buses and train services continue to operate as usual. Parent contact and presence on the school premises must be by appointment only. There will be signage directing student movement into the school.
What do I need to bring? Pack sufficient food for recess and lunch as well as drinks. The canteen facility is currently unavailable until otherwise advised. Full school uniform is required. Years 7-10 PDHPE uniform must also be packed for your scheduled day at school. All necessary equipment to participate in learning, including stationery, school diary and ruler.
When should I arrive at school and what do I when I get there? All students (Year 7-11) must arrive prior to period one in the morning and are expected to stay on the school premises until the end of the school day. Year 12 arrival and departure times are in accordance with their flexible timetable schedules. Students must follow signage/directions provided at all school entry points in order to arrive at the top quadrangle before the commencement of the school day. While it will be exciting to see your friends, no physical contact is permitted, especially kissing and hugging.
Movement through the school, social distancing, hygiene and break times: Movement through the school will include using the sanitisation stations at various entry and exit points. It will require students to wait their turn and be conscious of maintaining distance between their space and the space of others. Students will be expected to wipe down their desk and seat at the commencement and completion of the school day or when they relocate to another classroom space. Handwashing is expected to occur before and after meals and during toilet breaks, in addition to the ongoing access of sanitiser. Break times and playground spaces will be designated and must be adhered to.
