From Sunday 19 October 2025, Transport will make changes to some train services on the T1 Western, T8 Airport & South, Blue Mountains, Hunter and Central Coast & Newcastle Lines.
These changes are being introduced as part of a regular review of train services to improve services for passengers.
Some T1 Western Line services will make an additional stop at Granville, providing Granville passengers with an additional 185 services across the week.
As a result, minor adjustments will also be made to the departure times of some weekday off peak services for some stations between Richmond and North Sydney on the T1 Western Line.
On the T8 Airport & South Line, minor adjustments will be made to the departure times of two T8 Airport & South Line Wednesday afternoon services for consistency with other weekday services.
There will also be changes to departure times and departure platforms of some weekday services on the Hunter, Central Coast & Newcastle and Blue Mountains Lines.
All adjustments are minor but may mean some services arrive a little earlier or depart a little later.
The adjustments are part of a regular review of services by Sydney Trains and will be visible on transportnsw.info and travel apps from Sunday 5 October 2025.
